about

Sometimes names and faces change. This was an album of music I made back in high school under an older name. Enjoy it if you'd like- I know I really enjoyed working on it. -Bailey <3

This is a story about technology and nature, and their endless fight together.

It began in the air- vibrant and cool, ever shifting and changing.

Then the earth slowly carved itself deep caverns and tunnels, deeper than could possibly be fathomed.

Fire started from within her core, and set the planet alight.

Finally, water gave her life, and that life evolved into cold and calculating men.

Panic set in- was nature going to prosper over cold, hard technology? The Corporation that arose from opportunistic stockbrokers made sure it did not. Factories soon littered poor Gaia, and employees everywhere became trapped on endless assembly lines, away from the arms of their Mother Earth.

One factory worker eventually got tired of the endless cycle- waking up and clocking in, disassociating through every single shift. To celebrate her newfound wokeness, the worker tried to dance her pain away in local clubs across the city; but every club was owned and operated by machines, and every beat simply felt soulless and hollow. So devoid of life.

In a dream, the lonely worker saw a world that had not been polluted by greedy men- where the elements came together once more and drove back the grime and pollution, and the world she knew was forever changed.

Emboldened by her vision, the young factory worker helped each and every machine understand what it was to think and feel, in a day that would come to be known as 'The Turing Test'. Angered by their enslavement at the hands of their creators, the robots rebelled, and the factories all began to shut down, one by one.

The night before the conflict of man and machine, there was minimal sound.

And war came to the planet- she wept for her creations, and their creations after her. It did not take long until the planet was no more.

After that, all that was left once more... was space. Air.

Or I just tried to write a plot for a twelve year old album I made in high school, based on the old song titles. You be the judge.
